M.Y.A.C and M.A.S.T.T are going to be joining forces to organise a Ethical Fashion Show.

Our plan is to organise a fashion show using only charity shop clothes to show people how they can look good, support local charity shops and reduce their impact on the environment.

If this sounds like something you’d like to get involved with, please come along to our second meeting at the New Inn, Manchester road,Marsden at 7.30pm on Monday 6th July.

Wanted: People to help organise fashion events

We are planning on doing some joint events with mastt,
We will be meeting in the next few weeks to discuss 3 projects;

* Clothes Swap - Also known as ’swishing’

* Fashion Show - Using clothes bought from Charity shops, demonstrating how charity shops are fashionable, ethical and good for your wallet/purse.

* Bag Workshops -We have had some fair-trade organic cotton bags given to us by Kirklees Council, we hope to run some workshops in which people can decorate their own and take them away.
